What is Paris like these days?

How is Paris now with the numerous protests, riots and police presence? Is it livable at all? Is it safe? I am wondering how much Paris and France have changed since I was there last a few years ago.


Also, do they require the Covid vaccine to enter doctors' offices and hospitals? I think they require masks.

I would like to ask that too as was planning to stop at Paris on way to Nice. Lot in the news lately. Is it alright to stay Paris? Now.
