Hi JoonFourie,
I cannot help you out there. I'm a European citizen so I do not need a work permit nor visa. You will probably find information when you search 'carte séjour' on the French government's website. Or maybe one of the there non EU-citizens on this forum can help you?
Best,
Jan

Hi JoonFourie,
As an Australian I have just been through this experience and got my professional visa a couple of weeks ago. There are several different types of professional visa you can apply for depending on what you want but you might be looking for a Professionale Indepedent to freelance like myself or maybe you want an Employee one to work in a job. They are very involved and you need a lot of information and I recommend the lawyer I used. The main thing about it is you cannot get it whie in France. You have to apply in person in your country of residence. ***

I was featured in an article recently that talks about it a bit and gives some links. https://thenewdaily.com.au/life/travel/ … es-france/
Good luck
