Perpignan - Whats living there like?

Any British ex pats and/or families moved to perpignan?


Seriously considering this and would love to learn more about your experience, including what's great? (Food, wine, amenities, entertainment) and what's not (summer heat, French admin etc) and any other things to help us decide.


Has to be there as I need regular flights to London, until fully remote!

Have only just found your post…probably too late,

My wife and I have lived in France for 11 years….in Perpignan for the last 3 years.

If you still need it, we’re happy to pass on any advice/experience we can.

I am Scottish (69) though I also have a French passport since 2022. My partner Sue is 67 and English.

Hey phil......I've spent a fair bit of time there...and I can tell you it, and leucate(Aude) are the Long strong wind capitals of France. My pals there LEAVE during the windy season.
