Work or Study or Marriage

Hello, im currently living in Lyon and i want my Pakistani boyfriend to join me in France in order be with me. However we already applied 1 year ago for the student visa and it got rejected and he lost a lot of money.

We are confronted to a dilemma

Should he apply for a tourist visa and do the process here in France to find a school or a work or should we get married? He doesnt talk french wich makes things quite difficult to find a school where he would be accepted

Should we apply for the short or long stay tourist visa?

Please what do you suggest?

Pauline, I suspect your ambivalence is a part of your problem with the bureaucracy. You sound as though you are young. It's probably best if you give yourself time to get your personal situation more stable and possible more permanent. That will take time but it will also simplify the bureaucratic choices when it come time to make decisions about clear answers on paperwork. Hope this helps.
