Getting gay married

Irwansyahemric

Hi, I am Indonesian, currently live in Indonesia with my boyfriend since 2012. He will return to UK next year and ask me to live with him. I would like to know, How the proccess with it though?

Should I go to UK with holiday visa then get merried there? I don’t understand this a lot.

or I requested to UK ambasador for having a gay merried first?

What should I do first?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

There is no difference between gay and straight marriages; the UK Gov website has the details; this link will take you straight there.

Hope this helps.

I believe the UK citizen will have to prove a minimum income and you'll both have to show you're in a proper relationship before you can be granted a visa.
After that, it's UK marriage laws.
