Truck driver license in Denmark

effat fazel

Hello

My brother lives in denmark and he went there to work as a truck driver. unfotunately the official translator in my country, translated his original license with mistake. They have wrote "trasportation vehicle" istead of "truck or trailer" and they have wrote up to 6 tons for both grade 1 and 2 license when in grade 1 it is more than 6 tons. Now his danish license has arrived and he is not allowed to drive trucks. What can he do?

Hello effat fazel,

Welcome to Expat.com 😀

I would recommend that your brother contact the Danish licensing authority to explain the situation.

It could also be useful for him to get in touch with the embassy or consulate of his home country in Denmark, as they might be able to help with the translation process.

I hope he can resolve this quickly and get back on the road soon!

Cheers,

Cheryl
