Mail to UK

Regular mail is always slower than someone like DHL even with a tracking number and cheaper.

Many people use DHL for important documents.

I need to send a low value but important document from Paralimni to UK. Does anybody have any experience/recommendations regarding Cyprus mail vs couriers?

I always use DHL for important letters.  They are far more expensive,  but your docs will be very likely to arrive safely.

Recently, I sent a mildly urgent Express UPS envelope/letter to an isolated Pacific island.  It took over a month.  The last 3 weeks, I suspect were on a ship despite planes going there everyday.  Cost me £65 (GBP).  You picks your courier and takes your chances. DHL would have been double the cost. Fedex maybe the same.

I have packages for the UK regularly.  I just save them up and take them on the plane and post them from there.
