Have bought from eMag and Zora. Drop boxes are secure and are usually a delivery option. Most can be operated in Eng and Bg.

Hello sticky, unfortunaly this is for the bigger machinery, the small ones i don't mind as there's a lot in Ruse, just the bigger stuff that i'm struggling with :) maybe emag would deliver bigger stuff, i will try a test purchase

HI

Technopolis in Varna I have utilized this service numerous times, and the delivery consistently arrives satisfactorily. However, I anticipate you may need to facilitate the last delivery segment with phone directions, so please include a contact number for someone who speaks Bulgarian and is familiar with the area to which the delivery is intended.

I order loads of stuff online all the time, with no issues at all.

They don't really care where the house is (exactly, just the village) and won't pay any attention to coordinates or google maps links.

They want a Bulgarian mobile phone number, and the delivery driver will want to call you on this. Then, typically, they want to meet you at the usual meeting spot in your village. In my village, it's the fountain at the entry to the village, next to the bus stop. Most of the delivery guys I get seem to have a bit of English, and, if not, I try fontan, pet minuti? Which seems to be good enough (unless he's in another village and wants deset minuti).

You then run/bike up to meeting spot and look for the Technopolis van, then wave to it/whatever. Best to say hello and check he's looking for you. And then you show him the way back to your house, where he unloads your new stuff.

I quite like this system as they don't just dump valuable orders outside your house. But it's a system that doesn't work if you don't have a Bulgarian mobile phone, or if you're not at home on the delivery day. It's probably a bit tricky if your village has no obvious landmark/meeting spot, but this is unlikely as most have a shop or town hall or bus stop or fountain or church/mosque, etc.
