The Pleasures of City Life....

JimJ

Our washing machine packed up this week and thanks to the weather the clothes baskets have been filling up.  I decided that it was time to remedy the situation, and we popped out to one of the numerous nearby white goods retailers yesterday evening to see what goodies they might have for us.  I quite fancied a Wi-Fi model with all the bells and whistles, but we eventually compromised on a boring one that just washes clothes.  The store van turned up at 9 this morning (yes, I know it's Sunday 😎) and two beefy young chaps hauled the new washer up our garden steps, and departed the same way with the old one.  Two wash loads worth of clothes are currently flapping in the breeze...

Can't fault the speed of that delivery! 😄
