Good morning, I'm going to Blagoevgrad in Bulgaria as part of the Erasmus+ program. I am looking for an apartment in the city center, surrounding area or somewhere close to the university. If anyone has an apartment to rent from September or knows someone who does, please contact me. Thank you in advance.

As the OP has probably discovered, most universities here offer little or no assistance to students when it comes to accommodation. A few have "student hostels" but there are very limited numbers of places and you'd need to be pretty desperate to rent one (or have a high tolerance for cockroach infestations - and I am being serious).

There's a good reason why Sofia's Studentski Grad is regarded as a good area for property investment - demand for rental accommodation always greatly exceeds supply, despite the high rents.

Facebook is probably your best bet - there are plenty of groups there offering apartments to rent or share.
