Ltd company formation

jasmith837

Hi all.

I have tried the search function but wasn't able to find an answer.

My wife and I will be travelling over to Bulgaria in May.  Unfortunately we only have one week for this I was wondering if it would be better to establish a Ltd company before we head over.  Just in case we want to purchase a property straight away.

I'm not sure if we have to wait and do it all at the same time.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Cheers James 🍻.

My advice is to get a company setup before you go, on one caveat, you are sure you want to buy there otherwise it'll be a waste of money, also you need the right type of company, for the property you are looking to buy.

Also my advice is don't buy straight away, the property is going nowhere in a hurry, don't get pressured into buying something your not sure of and do your research.

CarlS is quite right.  In some ways, having a company already set up is a bad idea: you can easily let your enthusiasm get the better of you and make a decision that you'll regret.  You need to see the property that appears to be "ideal" several times, so the rosy haze has had a chance to leave your imagination, and to consider what the location and the house itself will be like in both the winter and summer before you pull the trigger on the deal.  "Marry in haste...."
