Yes besides a tiler whom I'm not going to have working for me wanting 2000lev to tile my basement floor and the sink this isn't for the tiles or anything like that just his work which I'm thinking would be two days at the most. Also he kept finding other jobs that he thought needed doing and telling me he knew people to do it.

Then yesterday I had an air conditioner unit installed but the men installing it wanted 165 lev on top of the installation costs and even tried to tell me that the remote came with no batteries and asked if I had a tv remote, I don't have a tv just a radio, then they found some batteries in the cab of their van. I looked when they'd left and the batteries where new.

So that's why I decided to take a break today.

Oh, how frustrating! 2000 lev just for the labour on that job sounds far too much. I have someone doing my entire bathroom and kitchen for 2100 lev labour costs, a huge amount of work, concreting the dirt floor, tiling floors, replastering and partially tiling the walls, putting in a bathroom window, new shower, toilet, and handbasin...  Another 2000 lev for materials which I bought at Praktiker. But for the amount of work, this is a fair price. Your guy wasn't quoting a fair price at all.

Yes in the UK you get silly prices if they don't want to do the job. Anyway I'm having a rethink.
