My status changed to accord today
Congratulations many many hope you get your passport this Tuesday or Wednesday.
Best of luck to you
Hello,
Our status has been in treatment since 8 June. It is really encouraging to hear the times that you got the ACCORD. Please if there are others keep us updated so that we can have an idea ok how long it will take. I will let you know our experience as well.
My Wife's Family Re-union visa also got Approved (ACCORD) from the Belgian immigration office,
But the Visa sticker is not yet put in the Passport by the Belgian Consulate in Mumbai.
It seems they need further feedback from Belgian authorities owing to the current Travel-Ban.
On enquiring further, the people in the consulate are not sure when the Travel-Ban will be lifted.
Please let me know if you get any more info.
Hello,
I hope they print the visa soon
How long did it took for your application to become ACCORD?
Date of Application: 7 April 2021.
Date of Registration at Belgium Immigration Office: 29 April 2021.
Date of "ACCORD" decision: 17 June 2021.
May 18 it started displaying in ibz website and June 24 it changed status to accord so approx 1 month 1 week
As I mentioned in my earlier post, the Visa is yet to be stamped by the Mumbai Belgium consulate, so the passport is still at the consulate.
I called the consulate, it seems the Visa will be stamped only when the travel ban is lifted.
The consulate officials are unsure of when the travel ban will be lifted.
You can also enquire separately and let us know if you get different feedback.

Hi Dear
If I may ask, were any additional docs asked in your case? Or from In treatment to Accord ? how many days after registration at IBZ you got it approved?
Thanks Monika
Hi Monika!
We submitted the application on 12th April. The confirmation came on 22nd June. The dofi website never showed any update but an error message. The email was recvd from consulate via VFS on 25th June. I had called the immigration office in Belgium on 22nd June for an update and i was told the approved decision was made on 21st June.
The average time is approx 2 months plus few days currently for the approval cycle.

Okay! Thanks for sharing.
Hi all,
Applied 26th April
Registered 8th June
Approved 2nd July
Hi all,
Approved!! For anyone's future reference:
1. applied 11 May: cover letter, Husband's RP, travel insurance/certificate of mutalliteit, rental agreement, registered rental agreement (my rent copy), marriage and birth certificate (within 6 months MEA apostilled, for me, original marriage certificate issued in 2016 was accepted, apostille must be recent)
2. registered in IBZ 18 May (electronic transfer probably! in which case it still takes time. file is only processed once docs reach by diplomatic suitcase) and status "In treatment" since then
3. status change to "awaiting additional doc" on 30 June. Embassy asked for rental agreement though was submitted previously. I emailed the soft copy to embassy.
4. status change to "Accord" on 5 July. (visible on 6 July only)
I hope this will help others while waiting for processing.
Anyone have been through this situation where date of the decision has been updated and showing as 8 july 2021 however the decision result is still shown as being treated
Hi, how many days approx it takes to get a result on dofi website? It has been 15 days since we made our application for family reunification visa from İstanbul, but VFS still shows it's in progress in Belgium Embassy and dofi shows nothing. I know it will take time but I'm just curious.
We (me and my son) had a tourist visa in July (with preapproval of embassy), we went to see my husband and turned back on time before our visa ended and applied 10 days later for reunification after we turned.
Thanks
Hello Geetanjali,
Can you tell me how long it took to get your visa approved ? My wife has applied for spouse visa on 7th June, it is 7th September already and still no news from IBZ office. It shows ‘In treatment’ everytime I track it down.
It depends what you're calling spouse visa...
For family reunion (visa D): 6 months if you're EU, up to 9 months if non-EU.
For getting married / legal cohabitation visa (visa C) around 8 weeks.
Hello!
Sorry for a late reply. We had applied on 12th April 2021. The visa was issued on 21st June 2021.
Oh okay thanks for the uodate, in my wife’s case the application was submitted on 7th June and registered on 22nd June. So yeah checking the IBZ website once in a day for now. I got to know it can take upto 9 months (which is frustrating) but I wish it comes sooner.
Hello guys hi, so I have received a mail from the IBZ office mentioning to submit some documents via email to them for my wife’s visa. So, I will be submitting them very soon. Does anyone knows once I submit those documents how long the IBZ office takes to approve the visa ?
Hey hi,
So I have received some news from the IBZ last week. They asked me for some documents which I have submitted as well. But while they asked those documents the status in IBZ website was showing ‘pending receipt of documents supporting the visa application’. Today when I checked again the IBZ website it again shows ‘In treatment’ like it was showing before. Do you know if it is a normal practice to resume and show the previous status once the required documents are submitted ? Thanks.

how do you check your status from IBZ website?
Hello,
Well you can follow this link below and check the status:
https://infovisa.ibz.be/InfovisaNl.aspx
Make sure to know the code (you can ask the embassy where the visa request was applied).
Hey guys,
Just wanted to share my wife’s visa got approved. So yeah it took around 3.5 months overall (from the date of applying in VFS).
Great news, congratulations! Could you please tell me how many days after you see the application on IBZ, you received approval? Our application started to show on ibz website 5 days ago. So how many days we'll wait approx, I wonder.. Thanks
