Hi. It is a great weather there. And people from over the world.

It is very quiet because many places are closed.  It is still a beautiful place to live, however.

Please how can I get a genuine visa to Tirana Albania?

Living in Vlora during winter can be quite peaceful, with fewer tourists and a milder climate compared to other parts of Albania. However, be prepared for some rain and cooler temperatures, as the city can be quite quiet during this season.

I LOVE it! Has my name all over it.

Hopefully I can make it before Christmas and find a quite place with a good rent price.

My plan to live as a perpetual tourist and/or digital nomad probably starts in Vlorë.

I'd like to make some friends in Albania before I buy the airfare and land. Any takers?

The strategy I hear is to pre rent a place short term and do the "boots on the ground" housing search once I am there.

Wish me luck 😁

After escaping the pollution of Tirana I checked Himara, Vlora and Saranda. Himara was ok, did not like Vlora, and moved to Saranda. Very happy here, warm weather, clean air and a good expat community.

For those looking for monthly rentals, this place

Winter in Vlora is pretty chill and quiet. Most tourists disappear, a lot of beach bars/seasonal places close, and the city slows down a lot. Weather is mild compared to much of Europe — cool, rainy, windy days, but nothing extreme.

If you like a calmer vibe, cheaper rents, and empty beaches, it’s great. If you want nightlife, events, or lots of restaurant options, it can feel dead. Everyday essentials stay open, so living is easy — just less “buzz” than summer.
