Transportation from San Pedro Sula airport to La Ceiba

Does anyone know if there is a way to be driven from San Pedro Sula airport to La Ceiba with 2 large dogs in kennels?

The pet travel agent we are using can only get our dogs to San Pedro Sula and we need to get to Roatan. Flying through the US is not an option as we are told crossing the border is hit and miss with US customs as well as US airlines sometimes decide a Canadian vet certificate isn't good enough, must be American.

We have found a way to get to San Pedro Sula but have no idea how to get them to La Ceiba for the ferry.

Any help would be great.

There are plenty of services that can transport you in a private van. I'm sure there would be room for the dogs. The Roatan and Utila Facebook pages are a good place to inquire

There are plenty of private taxis listed on FB that go from SAP to La Ceiba. One of them is named Uber (not the us Uber). They go from SAP airport to the ferry. Think it's about $100 US for the trip. Also call Sosa air or Lanhsa air. They also will transport to Roatan.
