I was thinking about using a helicopter to fly into all these developments to check them all out in one day instead of driving those crappy roads around trujillo. Anybody know if there is one in LE ceiba? And about how much to rent? Another option would be to rent a boat a cruise down the coast from LE ceiba to check them out. Would these developments allow helicopter or boats to pull up to the development?

Actually this would be a great way to go to your resort in trujillo than take a bus or car from LE ceiba.

I would personally set the time aside and drive. This way you can see the entries and take in the areas to get a good (or bad) feeling. Helicopter ride sounds fun though for sure !!

Technically you would only need 2 or 3 days to see everything from La Ceiba to Trujillo
