Good Dental Cleaning and Checkup

Hello! I will be in the DR in two weeks and would like to get a basic cleaning and check-up while I'm there. I will be in Santo Domingo and Las Terrenas primarily. Can you recommend a local dentist in either place that charges reasonable (non-tourist) prices? Hablo español. Gracias!

Sounds like in lieu of a dentist, the website found you a (unrequested) boyfriend! (( eye roll )) like we're not harassed enough.

Dr Tactuk offers a very good dental service and there is a dental X ray service in the same complex so you should be able to get full inspection and cleaning in one visit if you so plan.

We've not been, but this office in Las Terrenas gets high marks from everyone I've spoken to. I know people who have had routine checkups, fillings, extractions and braces. All very happy - and the dentists speak at least enough English that those who don't speak Spanish have not had any issues.
