Migracion acts on Russians illegal overstayers of tourist cards

From Migracion in a link I provided below:

"We deport people of all nationalities. We detain anyone who is in an irregular condition and we send them to their country of origin. The General Directorate of Immigration does not have racial discrimination or prejudice against any person; our commitment is to the correct application of the law,"he explained in his talk to the young people who are beginning their training.

It seems that recent news where Haitians were saying they are being mistreated and racial discrimination was used against them  by Migracion officials is causing a reaction from DR.GOB. 

Those Russians for example where news reports clearly stated they had dont nothing else wrong but overstay their tourist cards and now they are deported and not be allowed back in the DR.  There have been recent news articles by Haitians claiming racism, while illegal overstayers who enter on tourist cards are allowed to stay in the DR forever and ever, and that is a long time.

There are many people just in Cabarete and Sosua in an irregular condition playing gigs in bars and getting paid illegally!.  When is their deportation going to happen exactly?

Do I expect that deportation to happen of tourist card illegals?  No.  It's only words except for a few Russians, but I can hope the laws are actually enforced.  Things might be changing.
