MIgracion denys entry for 8 because of previous overstays

This was just on DR1 about Migracion denying entry to previous overstayers.

Well, well......

Take the time to read the entire article:

The General Directorate of Migration (DGM) prevented 116 foreign citizens from entering the country through airports and ports last July , a list headed by 28 Mexicans, 19 Americans, 16 Colombians, 12 Haitians, 11 Venezuelans and 6 Peruvians.....

......In addition, 11 were denied entry due to inconsistencies recorded when presenting themselves to the immigration inspector, 8 for having exceeded the authorized stay time on previous visits, 5 for having an entry impediment ordered by the competent authority, and 3 for having a conviction for sexual assault of a minor.

Sad part if the law was followed 8 out of 1000s in a month. 116 not a large number compared to 100s or thousands tourist that enter in month in the DR.

Its simple, unless you you want to return, make sure you don't overstay.

@CHRISTOPHER DAVID56

and of the 116 only 8 were for previous overstays. The actual article is pretty badly written.
