New members of the Cuba forum, introduce yourselves here - 2026

Hola,

I have hope of returning to Cuba in the next few months.  I was there in 1997 and have wanted to return.

I was overwhelmed by the generosity of spirit of the Cubanos and the cleanliness of the country.

Not forgetting the Cuban pork, black beans, and rice. 

Having lived in the Caribbean, I would like to find a place in the western part of the country and enjoy

beach life with the beautiful, clear blue water. 

For the past twenty years, I have lived and worked in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, and Mexico.  Spent time in El Salvador, Peru, Honduras, and Colombia. 

I welcome thoughts and recommendations, and hope you will pass some along, the good, the bad, and what you feel is important.
