Try Tilt-Ta-Dock Resort. It's the best place in Corozal . Good luck!

Not sure if you only want to stay or check out Corozal town or if you’d like to see more of the District. Orchid Bay has a nice beach and cabins or condos to rent and it’s quiet. They also have a van that can pick you up at the airport. Tony’s Inn is also a nice hotel in Corozal town. VIPTransfers will also do airport pickup if needed.

terrific

I see you were not actually given an answer to the Question you asked.   The best way to get from the airport to Corozal town.
You can Hire a vehicle from the airport, Belize not the cheapest place to hire vehicle, but from Years of personal experience I would recommend Crystal. If you book ahead of time 'on line' you get a small discount, and your car will be waiting for you when you arrive.
There are also  taxi's and private 'van' companies that will transfer you, door to door, but these are also not inexpensive, several companies can be found  on line
There are Busses that run from the main road outside the airport to Corozal town, Cheapest option by far, BUT that road is a mile from the terminal, ( long way to drag your bags)
You may want to travel around more of the area,  while you are here, and having to find taxi's or bus times and routes can put a damper on your trip.
My choice would be a vehicle from Crystal.
