A couple of months back I enquired at 3 private hospitals if they were doing any of the vaccines to paying clients & all replied they were not at that time. Most if not all expats that I know of as you say have had them done free including the booster. As for me I had to register last week at ward to get the booster & just have to wait for the call/text.

Thankyou for the reply. Just to clarify, the booster is free to all residents in HCMC (not just expats)? Do residents have to pay for their initial shots as well or are they free also?

You had to register or 'reregister' for the 3rd (booster shot)?

I can only say from my own experience & knowledge. That is that all vaccinations have been free....1, 2 & booster to Vietnamese citizens & ex pats.

Got a message on Zalo to say that all over 65's who wanted the booster had to go to the management office to fill in a form & I did.

Free here also.. not sure why they would differentiate or charge, the covid situation affected everyone. How useful booster will be or if necessary is another matter.

My GF who is under 40 had her's yesterday?

"Management Office". Are you referring to your apartment's management office or gov health management office? The reason I ask, I'm eligible for the booster but I live in a row house. My ward director's a swell guy, ambitious less so!

Apartment management office, they had the forms & passed it on to ward (I think)

Got it! My first 2 shots I had to chase. I believe my ward director (nice guy) takes extended naps? Looks like I (wife) will also be chasing the gov office for my booster. I now know where to start. Thanks for the info.
