Spotify & Netflix work too. Spotify is only a couple of bucks USD.

A person once asked me (in the United States) whether Hindi (an Indian language) would "go over the telephone?"

Apps seem to work in Vietnam just fine. Where they don't work -- sometimes -- is in China where the internet is clamped down hard by the Public Security Bureau and the Ministry of Propaganda.

Google doesn't work in China without a VPN.

It seems Vietnam is rapidly becoming one of the most developed and globalized countries in the region of Southeast Asia (ASEAN).

Most everything seems to be available in urban areas although the quality of some things may be disappointing.

Anyway, the important thing is that you can easily found the four main varieties of Tabasco sauce.
