I just completed the survey.  There are a couple comments that would improve user experience:

If you make a post and then edit it to add a link it puts that link under review.  If it was added at the time the post was made it will post OK.

Search function is abysmal which causes people to post the same tired questions over and over again.

Also, the mods are too PC and sensitive.

Ditto on both.  Both problems have been brought up time after time.

It's very frustrating that you keep repeating these types of surveys without any hope of changing the underlying problem. The website is built on a faulty shell, originally intended to be a Blog and it's really not very functional when you compare it to other options in social media. For one thing a person who posts something should be able to delete what they post. You don't even allow that unless we report our own post to you which is such a bother.

Does this happen if you add or revise a link using the built in link function (the little chain at the top of the composition page) or only when posting links directly on the page?

I agree 100% on the search function and am one of those who has commented before.  It's almost completely useless.

If you make a post then edit the link, or add another link it will go under review.

It does.  We brought it up with IT also.  I forgot their reply, just that it's unsatisfactory IMO.

I've never used the link chain icon, just cut and paste the link.  Sometimes in the past I had posted a comment and then went back to edit toe post to add a link for clarification or supporting my comment but it always comes up as link under review.

So now if I know I will put in a link I try to remember to copy that link into the message first.

How about being able to drag and drop images into posts instead of having to use a link from another site ?

Yes!

That makes so much sense!

Oh no!

That makes too much sense...

In my opinion the survey is of the same quality as the site and developed with the same myopic view the founder and his management team approach everything. Ask bad questions get bad results. I think the crew needs to have its hearing checked. Members have had the same complaints for years now and it will never change.

A blocking system like Facebook would be a great way to improve this antiquated site.
