I have just moved to Hanoi and I am completing my quarantine at the moment.

A bit of a strange time to be moving to a new country, but I am cautiously optimistic. I am interested in getting to know people, and exchanging tips on living here. I have been in Hanoi many times on business trips but have never lived here. It's fair to say I have hundreds of mundane questions, but I won't bore you with them now.

Looking forward to meeting people and living in Vietnam.

Please take a look at some of the recent subject threads.

There are a couple of discussions about the quarantines and about re-entering Vietnam.

Your experiences would be great additions to the conversations, as there are a lot of people with questions.

Let's not discuss it in this thread because it's just for new member introductions.

And It probably won’t happen anyway, because then you wouldn’t have to scroll past the articles and ads at the bottom while trying to find the button that takes you to the last page of the thread

I just realized if you click on the little “New” blue rectangle, instead of clicking somewhere else on the thread title, it takes you to the last unread part of the the thread...Problem mostly solved, but the ability to sort would still be nice 😆

Buying any business here is fraught with danger. You should come here and get a feel for the place. Not a lot of expats in that area, so not sure who your customer base will be. Contact a member called Willybaldy, he lived there for awhile.
