Vietnam : looking for any information and advice

Hiya guys.
I'm thinking of moving to Vietnam and looking for any information and advice, for example the monthly cost of living, property to rent, Safe area's to live for expats.is there a retirement visa application.
Anything else you can help with I would be grateful guys

Monthly cost of living = generally low, although more expensive in Hanoi and Saigon

Property to rent = generally there's an oversupply, except Hanoi and maybe HCMC

Safe areas to live for expats = most anywhere, except for remote jungle and mountainous areas. Da Nang/Hoi An is a popular destination.

Is there a retirement visa application = No, most are on various types of visas ranging between 3 months to one year. Other options may be available.
