Vietnam Women's Day

Every year, October 20th, but do you think I can remember it?

Ran out and got a package of sweet mousse treats, and some flowers. I'd have missed it entirely but for a friend mentioning it to me.

Do you have an iPhone? You can set up a recurring yearly reminder to pop up on October 19 or heck, even October 18. I highly recommend it. 😜 I call this outsourcing my memory to my phone.

Good idea, Lennerd , but no, no iPhone.

In fact, no phone at all, though the little lady has been pushing me to get one. I guess she's tired of me commandeering hers when I go out shopping alone.

Do you have email?

Virtually every email program has an associated calendar function that can send you an alert to your email for a recurring function such as a birthday or an anniversary

@Aidan! What?! No phone?! What do you stare at when you get together with friends for coffee, each other?!

What do I stare at? Well, that depends on whether GF is with me or not.πŸ˜‰
