Khmer entry to Vietnam

Guestposter655

Hi all. My Khmer girl friend and I will come to Vietnam in April.  We visit da nang and hoi an. I will get evisa for 30 days. Unsure how long Khmer person can stay. We see websites saying 14 days visa free for her. Turning to experts here!  She has Cambodian passport good for 10 years with plenty of empty pages.

can someone let me know time she will have. We will fly from Siem reap.

thanks all.

Correct. 30 days reciprocal agreements with Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand.

No visa or entry permit required for Khmer nationals.

Complete official list, here.

edit: sorry Andy, didn't see your link with same info :)

A & A already gave you great advice.

I'd only add that on the off chance your GF is a holder of an APEC business travel card, she can have a 60 days visa exemption AND extend her stay in country for up to 9 months total.

Thanks everyone! My girl friend has not been to da nang or hoi an. Can’t wait to show her all the wonderful places. She really wants to spend time on the beaches but also get to bana hills. 30 days for her is nice. Maybe we will go to hue as well.

take care everyone.

I believe they can enter VN with ID,I  have been to Hai Tien border crossing, locals from both side are crossing the border like crossing the street, only similarity with us outsiders is when you approach VN side everybody has to get off the scooter and push it through border control  - NO RIDE  there.
