i am in aus at the moment but i am returning to renew my marriage visa and stay in thai I am doing my non o 3 month visa but they want a return flight but i will be staying what do i do - @mascot64

Who is the "they" you are referring to? The airline?

Why then would immigration state the need for an onward ticket if it isn't a requirement?

I asked whether it might be the airline asking for proof of onward travel because we have seen that quite often on the Vietnam forum. As with Thailand's immigration department, Vietnam immigration likewise does not require an onward ticket.

If they cannot see reason - which common sense would say they should, buy a ticket to a neighboring country that you can cancel then cancel it

To renew your marriage visa do you have to apply within a certain time frame before your present visa runs out
