Yes, another 30 days. Cost 1.900 baht. And the immigration office is in Jomtien, Beach Rd soi 5, not in Pattaya.

@Leeds forever! I thought entries from Australia get 45 days now.

Am I correctly informed? Can you extent the 45visa by just turning up at the Immigration Department or does One have to cross one of the Thai borders with a reentry visa.

Cheers, Hansie

No one gets 45 days. You only get a 30 days visa exempt which is extendable another 30 days at the local immigration office. 18-19 countries just get 15 days visa exempt and they can only extend the stay 7 days.

@Leeds forever! Thanks you for clarifying this issue for me.

I had just recently a friend returning from Bangkok who told me that last month the 30 day visa for Australians was extended to 45 day. He obviously was mistaken.

Need help with immigration or administrative procedures in Pattaya?

It's a visa exempt, not a visa. Countries with longer permissions of stay without a visa have bilateral agreements with Thailand.
