Spass permit processing

rchlrdc

i had already received my IPA and will be entering singapore by tomorrow. May I know how would be the process after I arrived in Singapore? I had read that you can’t report to work unless you received your card or notification letter. Am I right? And also, if the card hasn’t been released yet. Is it possible that I can leave Singapore? Is there any other documents that I can show if I’ll be coming back to Singapore?

@rchlrdc Correct: You can only start work after the S-Pass is issued by MoM (meaning you get the card or notification letter).

The IPA is your one-time entry visa for the purpose of getting the S-Pass issued. If you enter for any other purpose (visit, etc. but NOT issuance of S-Pass), you should use another visa type - otherwise you lose the IPA and thus the S-Pass.

@beppi but if i got my notification letter i can travel in and out of singapore?

Once the S-Pass is issued, it is a multiple-entry visa.
