EP Appeal Processing Timeline

Processing an appeal takes a similar or longer time than an EP without incidents - and that is anywhere between 2 weeks and 2 months in most cases (some special circumstances might take longer).

Reason checked with employer : MOM needs Justification for Occupation List , Job position they applied is Software Engineer.

Dec1st : Employer collected my technical certifications and degree certificate and they said provided Justification made an appeal again.

What are the chances now?

My Batchelor degree is B.E EEE

Your chances of course depend on the justification your employer gave (and how that addresses MoM's concerns). Since we here do not know these, we cannot advice you, sorry!

Yeah I checked ,My employer is MOM licensed agent ,I had checked with their license no in MOM portal.

SOL related issue usually takes how long?

@beppi : I do have total 11 years of experience in IT. For the SOL as software engineer as the Job title. My education is batchelor of engineering in EEE.

Previous designations in Singapore are

1. Senior systems consultant
2. Senior system Engineer
3. Computer System Engineer

Below are the conditions for SOL

Applicants should have either (1a) or (1b):

(1a) At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of

these faculties:

o Computer Science

o Information Technology

o Programming & Systems Analysis

o Science (Computer Studies)

o Software Engineering

(1b) Minimum total three years’ work

experience in at least one of these job titles:

o Blockchain architect

o Blockchain developer

Still in Pending State by Jan 9th 2026 : MOM has asked for some more time to process it.
