What document to provide to make stronger justification on appeal

vanilasky17

Hi kind soul.

I am a fresh graduate from a biotechnology science department. Previously, I have applied for S Pass, but it got rejected. I also apply for appeal in hoping it would be approved, yet it was still rejected. Now, I am going to apply for my 2nd appeal, my employer then said:

"Do you have additional relevant qualifications with certifications or documentation applicable in order to support this appeal and make stronger justification?"

After that, I decided to provide them my employment certification containing of my past work record in a company (ofc it has been legally signed by the head of the company). Do you think it is enough?

Still, I wonder what other documents I should provide to them. I hope some of you experiencing this situation can tell me what document you could provide in order to get the work pass approved. Thank you very much for your help.

Ask yourself: What do I bring that benefits Singapore (as a country, economy or society) and that local people don't have?

Just having a fresh degree is not enough.

Do you have special niche skills, which are in demand in Singapore? Will your presence create jobs for locals? Are you a well-known scientist, athlete or artist? Or do you bring millions in investments into local companies?

So, from what you say, fresh grad only have little chance to get their work pass approved?

I do also have some work exp with me during my day as an undergrad student. On the employer side, they said they will make a justification letter about my capability and my qualification as a researcher. Does it really help me in this situation?

Yes, everything that sets you apart from a normal, local applicant could help!

@beppi Thank you for the reply. Me as a fresh grad always feel less confident in getting this pass approved. Allow me to ask something, does 2nd work pass appeal have more chance on getting approved or is it the opposite?
