Root canal treatment

brucehon

Has anyone had a root canal treatment near Cebu City?  Preferably I'd like to go to an endodontist. I'd like to hear where you went and your experience. Thank you.

@brucehon I had mine in Boracay with Dr. Garcia. He studied in the USA and opened he a US like dentist laboratory here in Boracay. For the root canal treatment and the crown I paid 350 USD last year.

Good Grief. . . .

Many years ago I had a root canal at Pittsburgh School of dentistry, Never Again (root canal).

I woke up one morning with a terrific toothache on my incisor. I wanted the tooth pulled but they convinced me to save the tooth. All went well with the procedure (it's not a one day procedure). The next morning I woke up with terrific pain in the whole left side of my face.

The dental service was a nominal low fee, but the cap itself was $400.

Now for the bright side, some 20 years later the capped tooth is lonely, with old age seems like you wake up in the morning and discover a tooth is missing here and there from time to time, but not that capped tooth. It's proudly all by itself.

Is Dr. Garcia an endodontist? Or just a general dentist? Also, was your tooth a molar?  How long did you have to wait to get an appointment?
