I'm planning to move to Maldives for work. Just wanted to know how much is income tax rate for the employed?

After MAldives government has reconstructed the GST this year and still eyeing more revenue, There were a debate and a deliberations from a higher authority to impose tax on personal income.

I hope it will not happen for its a big burdern for expats like us especially filipinos.

hi, there is nothing to worry about if your basic is less than $1945.52 = 30000.00rf, even if they apply the personal income tax it will be only applicable to those who earn more than the above as the basic salary...

your allowances is not included in the bill...
