Asking for suggestion to get a expat job in Malaysia

raisul.awal

Dear Friends,

I am an IT professional in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Want to shift to Malaysia as planning to admit my kids in school there.

With all my 15+ years of experience here in Bangladesh in different multinational and national companies, I want to get a job in Malaysia. How to proceed.

Please suggest.

Regards,
Rais

Depending on your skills exactly. High skilled jobs are in demand and even willing to hire expats. So it all depends. Your best shot is a nicely decorated LI profile. Keep applying.

However, let Covid-19 subside first. Otherwise you wont be able to enter the country, so nobody will take you anyway. Work on your skills till then.

IT professional  can mean so many things, from slave labour 7k a month to 25k a month (MYR) plus.

I always say if you are  a real expert as you suggest you simply leverage your network of contacts to get a job in Malaysia via a recommendation.  Why ask strangers online when your contacts will be 100x better? Especially  as you say you worked in MNCs before? Your network can help you more in a specialised field  - leverage that.

Also these are hard times to randomly  job hunt. Personal recommendation  is even more important now.
