English speaking Japanese person wanted for TV travel show

KateGodfrey

Hi there,

My name is Kate Godfrey, I'm a producer at a TV company in London. We are coming to Japan to film a travel series for Amazon Prime, fronted by James May.

We will be travelling from the northern tip of Hokkaido, all the way south to Okinawa meeting people from all walks of life and sampling as much Japanese culture as possible.

I'm hoping some expats, already living in the Kyoto region might be able to help me find a Japanese translator / interpreter?

I'm looking for someone Japanese to join the production team for 10 days while we film in the Kyoto region.

They must be Japanese, from and know the Kyoto region, have exceptional English skills, a great sense of humour, very confident, chatty, bubbly and fun and understands the cultural differences.

Please let me know if you can recommend anyone you've met while living there who would be up for a 10 day adventure with us.

Feel free to email me on: kategodfrey@plumpictures.co.uk

Thanks so much guys.

Very best,

Kate

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
Perhaps it's worth a note you aren't supposed to put contact details in posts in this section.
However, as you're clearly a legitimate business, I've left it alone. :)

Good luck in your search.
