Why did you come here? (Spoiler alert: Academic research!)

JohannD

Hello folks,

I am new to Indonesia. Well, relatively speaking, I came here 3 months ago for work.
After the first two weeks I started wondering about the motives and motivators of the expats here.
They all seem more or less happy with their lifes here.
Since I am also (still or again, depending on how you look at it) a student, I chose to focus the research of my MBA thesis on this topic.
What motivates people from the "first world" to come to a place like Indonesia?

If you are curious about this question and want to help me with my research, please have a look at my questionaire below.

All data will be used only for my academic research and remain completely anonymous.

Thank you very much and enjoy your life here. I do.

Ok I think this server is truncating links so they work for a limited time and then they are changed (to prohibit spam?).

I'll "correct" the link again but this is pretty inconvenient.
Sorry guys.

In case you want to go through the trouble:

Just put a "https://www." in front of the truncated link above.

Thank you for the feedback and participation!

JohannD

Ok thanks to some admin the link does not get truncated every day anymore.

Thank you and any additional participation in the questionnaire is highly appreciated!

I know, some of the questions seem pretty weird but it would be great if you can make it to the end of the questionnaire as then I can get the best correlation from the data.

Thank you for your support so far and keep going!
