For the ones living in Chennai, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places in Chennai, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days of for a week of holidays in Chennai?

there r manyplaces to visit in Chennai.
u have bikig Atv, zorbing, Paintball.. etc

Visit Besant Nagar Beach in evening between (6-9 P.M), go for a ride through ECR in morning hours, don't throw you alone somewhere. On the way you can cover some places, like boat house, amusement parks.

If you are looking for more places in Tamilnadu, specially over wildlife and nature. http://parambikulam.org/ go for this. You will love it.

Hello Julie,

I recently came here and visited a few places, liked a lot, here there are nice beaches Besant Nagar beach, Tiruvanmiyur beach and Marina beach which is Asias's largest beach.

apart from that, there are many anicient Temples are here and one of them is in Mailapur lord Shiva Temple, says that its very old arround 2000 years

And here in Egmore there is a large Govenment Museum, that is really worth to visit.
