Marriage certificate for VISA in EU

dimsred

Hello,

I'm from India and I'm trying to get a VISA D to go to Belgium (my spouse is Belgian and we married In India).

My first attempt for visa get rejected because they are telling me I gave a wrong marriage certificate. The document is called

FORM II "||" (See Sub-section (2) of section 11 and sub-rule (5) and (6) of rule 4) GOVERNMENT OF GUJARAT + Certificate of Registration of Marriage (Under the Gujarat Registration of Marriages Act, 2006)

The document was appostiled but they are telling me that the information in the document are not enough.

Here are full details of the refusal :

Considering that, pursuant to Article 27 of the Code of Private International Law, in order to be recognized, a foreign document must meet the conditions necessary for its authenticity according to the law of the country in which it was established, and its validity must be established in accordance with the law applicable to it.

Proof of this marriage was provided by a “certificate of registration of marriage”, that is, a certificate registering the marriage.

Considering that this document is proof of the registration of the marriage but not the marriage certificate itself, and that it does not contain important information allowing the marital relationship to be established — such as the fact that it does not specify the place and date of birth of the presumed spouses, which does not allow the persons concerned to be identified with certainty as the persons actually married according to this document; or the fact that it does not specify the civil status of the parties prior to the conclusion of this marriage.

Now my problem is that I don't know which document I need to submit and where I have to go to get the perfect document.

What is the exact name of such document ? In hindi, English or even gujarati ? and where I can get it ?

Does anyone here had the same issue and could help me ???

That will be very kind of you. Thank you !!!
