'Work to live '

Experienced British Carpenter Looking for a Work-to-Live Opportunity in Georgia

Hello everyone,

I'm a 55-year-old British carpenter and jobbing builder with around 30 years' experience in carpentry, kitchen fitting, property maintenance and general building.

I'm exploring a move to Georgia and looking for a genuine work-to-live arrangement with a homeowner, smallholding, eco-community or renovation project.

In exchange for a reasonable amount of practical work, I'd be interested in accommodation, ideally with meals or access to a kitchen. I'm happy to get stuck into repairs, joinery, renovations, maintenance and general property improvements.

I'm practical, organised, self-reliant and used to managing projects. I'm looking for somewhere friendly and peaceful where I can contribute useful skills, live simply and become part of the local community.

I would be travelling with my dog, Merlin, so a dog-friendly arrangement is essential.

If you have a project, know someone who might be interested, or can point me towards the right people, I'd love to hear from you.

Many thanks!
