Refused treatment

I have heard secondhand that if a Cambodian person arrives at a public hospital seriously ill and has no money will they be refused even to see a doctor and have to wait there turn outside, but if as I understand you can pay $15 for the doctor and $10 per day for a bed in a shared ward you will be seen immediately, right or wrong.k

The situation you sketched first applies to private hospitals and clinics.

Government aka referral hospitals will treat any Cambodian citizen provided they can id themselves.

Dear joe, you have given me food for thought, may be because I am 6000km. Away in Australia that I could be getting the mushroom treatment and need to consider whether I should continue sending more money, Ah Kun, joe.
