Buying medication in PP: methotrexate

I am living in Japan, and take methotrexate on a regular basis to treat arthritis. It's not really viable for me to obtain it with a doctor's prescription here, so I have been sourcing it overseas from (becoming ver more dubious ...) online pharmacies.

I will be in PP for a week next Feb, and I was wondering if it's possible to buy methotrexate OTC in pharmacies.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

My wife requires some quite specific medication .  We get no problems.

Phen Chet Pharmacy near Olympic Stadium - it is very popular and my doctor friends always recommend it as they don't sell fake medicine there.

Pretty much every tuk tuk driver I have used knows where it is.

If you like I could try and find an email address so you can contact them.

Hi,

An email address would be great.

I'd did a search, and found their phone number, but an email address would be very useful.
Yes, that's all very true - but clinical trials are still underway for its use with osteoarthritis, and it's likely to be years (a great many years in Japan!) before doctors can prescribe it.

It does work for osteoarthritis, and is a lot better than pain and daily trips to a rehabilitation clinic!
