Do you need a license to drive a moped or scooter or small motorcycle? What other requirements should I be aware of? Inshallah, one day I'm planning on retiring in Morocco or at least live there for a few years.

How are you doing ? Why did you choose Morocco ? I know it's a beautiful country and the people are very welcoming. Any special reason ?

Well, you have to be careful on the road right?! You will need a license to drive.

Thanks, I'd thought that might be the case. My wife is from Marrakesh and we've been going back and forth in the Summer for 20 years now, but not this year due to Covid-19. Never needed my own transportation, but preparing for retirement in Morocco, inshallah one day. I know you need Moroccan license for car and residency.

Let us hope that the situation will improve and that this whole Covid-19 will soon be under control.
Morocco is a very much desirable destination for retirement, i am sure you will enjoy it. Slowly but surely things will go back to normal.
