Another website, I found to be fun is https://reubsvision.mu/Mauritius360.html   you can have a virtual tour of Mauritius, many locations are offered and the pictures are just stunning.

Me too!  Thanks for sharing.  Gives me very good idea where the areas are around the westcoast high school.  What drive time do you think you would have from Black river to the west coast high school?  Google does not know...

Hello everyone,

Today 12th March,  we celebrate the 54th anniversary of the Independence and our 30th anniversary as the  Republic of Mauritius.  Independence Day holds a special place in all our hearts wherever we come from.  Best wishes to everyone on this special day.

Here's a documentary of Mauritius Independence day preparation back in 1968. The island was struggling with riots .  We were then a British colony. (1810 - 1968)  (158 yrs)

Agree. I just love their vlogs.  A lot about everyday life in Mauritius.  Ive followed them closely.  Also Will tevs has an interesting vlog.  A little more adventurous for a younger audience.
