Termination of occupation permit

Hi everyone,

I recently quit my employment at a Mauritian company but I have an occupation permit that expires in October 2014. Do you know if my occupation permit is still valid until the expiration date or is it terminated immediately when resigning from the company that got it for me when I first arrived? I've been trying to find these answers on the board of investments web site but have not found any.
