Red Alert: High Electricity Demand

Julien

Message from the Central Electricity Board, received today

Dear All,

We will be facing a Red Alert in electricity demand this evening, 15 October 2025.

As part of the Central Electricity Board family, let’s all do our part to ensure a stable and reliable electricity supply for everyone.

Please:

•  Switch off unnecessary lights and appliances when not in use.

•  Avoid using high-consumption devices during peak hours (especially in the evening).

•  Use air conditioners (between 24-26 deg) and water heaters wisely.

Every small action makes a big difference. Let’s lead by example and share this message with friends, families, and communities to encourage responsible electricity use.

Thank you for your cooperation and commitment.

Together, we can keep the power on for all.

Best regards,

The Central Electricity Board
