locked, as in network locked? or security lock forgotten?

1- most cases shouldn't be a problem depending on the model
2- also no problem, but u will lose all the data.

thx for you help model is balcberry cruve 8520 and problem is  not accept libyan sim card and already i save pick all data and they inform me if i chgnage softwar it willnot eork again in egypt and is it ok if i send it to tunisia coz they have blackberry servise there

there is no blackberry service in libya, mine works as normal mobile , no problem with the libyan sim, so you might need to talk to your service provider in egypet
