Lawyer for apartment purchase

Hello everyone,

Good morning 🙂

I am looking for a good lawyer to support an apartment purchase and got a few recommendations: Fady Saadallah Atteya from Red Sea Law Firm, Michael Nader from M&M and Adham Abdelaziz Alraheely from Alraheely Law Firm. Is anyone here having service from them before? If yes, how is it?

Cheers,

Carmen

Hi Carmen,

I saw your post about looking for a lawyer to assist with purchasing an apartment in Hurghada.

I’m an Egyptian lawyer and I can assist you with reviewing the property documents, checking the legal status of the apartment, and making sure the purchase process is handled properly.

If you’re still looking for legal assistance, feel free to message me and tell me a little about the property and where you are in the purchase process.

Best regards,

Taher

Since the forum doesn't allow service promotion, here is what actually matters when buying in Hurghada. First, verify the title: ask the seller for the registered title deed (not just a preliminary contract) and have it checked at the Real Estate Registration Office to confirm ownership and that the unit is free of mortgages or disputes. Second, check the building itself: confirm the building permit with the local council and make sure the unit sits on properly registered land. Third, the contract should be in Arabic (or bilingual), with the exact unit description, total price, payment schedule, handover date, and penalties for delay. Have it reviewed before you pay anything beyond a small deposit, and tie payments to construction progress if buying off-plan. Finally, use a lawyer registered with the Egyptian Lawyers Syndicate and agree the fee in writing before work starts. A proper title check is the single most important step.
