yes you are right about all what you said..but i think you go at the bad time coz this time is the big session on the year for carrefour .it is Ramadan time my dear for sure u will face those problems coz there is tooooooo much ppl visiting carrefour at this time to take the good promotions of goods for Ramadan.
and if you go in normal days you have to choose the good time as well.not all days is the same.you can go in the medal of the week like Sunday or Monday .there is not too much ppl visiting carrefour,
and one important thing for each section one section manager and for the department there is one dept head and also there is GM for the store and he is french and i think it you complain for any one of the management i am sure he will take action and he will not accept that wrong things .
i am really really really sorry for what happensĀ with you .cuz i am working in carrefour as section manager but i am not in the Maddi store i am in obor store but i will open the new store in shorten area
and if you need any support you can connect me by the mailĀ
i am sorry once again .have great day

Hi,
Wow...you have no need to apologize, and I would never dream of complaining about Carrefour or their staff.Ā The store is excellent value for money and the staff all work extremely hard, the only problem is that there needs to be about another 10 Carrefours in Cairo to cope with the amount of customers they get.
Normally I go very early in the morning when the store has just opened and it is fine.
Good luck with opening your new store, and I hope you get a promotion to department manager as your reply to this post shows excellent customer care skills.
Again, good luck.

thank you soooooo much my dear.
yes u are right and that is the plan of the company we will open more stores.carrefour is the best supermarket in Egypt comperingĀ to other Company cuzĀ i worked for many supermarket company.and believe me i dont say that cuz i am working in carrefour.
thank you my dear and i am at ur service any timeĀ

have great time

i just got the worst service ever in my life, that i am shocked from how they treat customers, even the duty manager i met to solve my problem was unresponsible and didnt help at all!! and was rude that he left me without solving the situationĀ as i brought a washing machine by 2500 LE and i must recieve it after 2 days or maximum 7 days but i got it after 8 days and it was broken, scratched and even dirty
and when i called the customer call center million times they showed no respect at all and the agent told me by a bad way ( just come take ur money and go some where else to buy the washing machine )
and as i paid by credit card so i will have to wait around 15 days plus i waited already for 10 days and finally i went to meet this duty manager today and his name is Mr.Ahmed al Zorkany, he just made fun and didnt care and left me speaking that even other customers were making video for his actions and his way in speaking showing no respect at all and guess it wil be posted in youtube and facebook
i used to buy most things from Carrefour but after this situation to delay the delievery of my washing machine plus to bring me broken one,i am sure i wont ever deal with Carrefour SUN CITY in any heavy machines AT ALL
so never say that clients will have the best service from them
hope my message is understood
thanks all.
It is the first time when I could find a person pays for a product that cannot check and see!
It s your fault, not theirs! How could you give money for something you don t check first?
Valibilic, it was delivered as i mentioned after 8 days
i checked it at home once they came and found out the broken part ,so i told him to go back with it as i wont sign that i recieved it
as when you buy a washing machine or a fridge....... you will ONLY check it once recieved
so my actions was normsl

It s not normal FIRST to pay and THEN to receive it!
Normal it s to FIRST to see, SECOND to check it, THIRD to pay , and the LAST to get it with you at home, not to pay and then to wait it to be received!

you can't check something until it's delivered. you don't buy the floor model, you buy what they have in stock. In Egypt I find that things are a bit different from the world I'm used to. They give you a hard time if you don't like the product upon delivery for whatever reason. you do examine it upon delivery and if you are satisfied then you sign for it. if you don't like it then it takes time for them to either replace it or fix it. This is the system here. It's not bad but you need to understand it. It's also the same system you have all over the world. I'm from America and this is exactly what they do there. Buy the product and then it's delivered, then you examine it upon delivery.very simple.
Also the best place to get home appliances in my opinion is B-Tech. The prices are a little bit higher but they are better from some of the other places.
